Art Class: The Potter's Hand
2019 has seen the start back to Home School, Pre-School, and today - Art Class! Today our little class worked on memorizing “You are like the clay in the potter’s hands, and I am the potter. “ (Jeremiah 18:6b), and we learned about pottery! We looked at various types of pottery from different cultures. Their little hands worked to shape something functional, something they could look at and remember that God is the Potter and we are the clay! It was sweet watching their little minds focus and create - small art masters are such big inspirations. Their ideas shape beautiful things, they are not inhibited by fear of failure, social fear, perfectionism (at least not usually), and it’s such a beautiful thing to witness. What are you making with your little ones lately? Or what beautiful things have you made or are working on? Blessings on your hands to create something lovely today!
