Saturday Seven: Staying on Track
Hey Friends!
I hope your weekend is off to a beautiful start! Today we had fun at the local Farmer’s Market helping Mr. Abear sell some cold-pressed juices, and later we have a fun event to go to - just a nice, chill kind of day.
We are right in the thick of January, but today feels a little more like March, sunny and only light-sweater worthy. We’re also still in the beginning of the New Year, and according to this article, many people drop off the resolution bandwagon on Jan 17th. How crazy is that?? Good news is, they’ve found about 40% press forward to the six month mark. Don’t you want to be one of those people, that goes six months and beyond? Sometimes it can be really hard to keep the stamina and resolve to continue on, especially when realize that all of our resolutions take true effort and practice, and two weeks doesn’t really create some sort of magical habit.
That being said, below you’ll find seven helpful tools/items/resources to keep on with those goals!
I’ve more recently started listening to podcasts, and this girl gets it. I mean, she is totally to the point, no sugar-coating, no fluff, just real talk. Minimalism, working out, holiday traditions… yeah, it’s good.
Have your heart set on learning something new? This free program is a great way to start learning a new language, maybe in time for some summer travels :)
If you’re looking to tackle some debt and live free, David and I really appreciate and have benefited from the wisdom of this man’s company
My friend created these lovely pages as a way to track your goals, write your priorities, and keep yourself accountable
I’ve really enjoyed trying out meal services like this one, you can go pretty health-conscious with them, and learn something fun all at the same time.
While everyone is losing it over Marie Kondo (ok ok, I’ve gotten really into it too, just not the talking to the house and thanking the clothes part) THIS blogger takes the mentality of just being thankful with what you have, without adding more for a set period of time. Really, how much easier is it anyway to put away things when you’re not constantly accumulating??
You might laugh when you see what this product is, but seriously — this is such a hard place for me to consistently keep clean! How helpful to have such a simple product with you at all times.
Bonus: For Christmas, David bought me powder from this company that can be added to smoothies, drinks, whateveryoucandreamup, and I almost don’t even care that it’s good stuff inside because of how pretty it is. I mean seriously, give me all the color.
Alright, we made it!! Thanks for reading along, and as always - let me know if you have any fun products/ideas of your own you’d like to recommend! <3
XO
