Saturday Seven: Mother's Day Edition
Goodness, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these! Life caught up, and to be honest it was just nice stepping back from it all. But here I am, ready to throw out some ideas that could even be purchased in time for Mother’s Day — TOMORROW!
Ready? Let’s do it.
I just discovered Agritopia Honey this past week, and I am so excited to try it. Supposedly, consuming honey crafted within ten miles of your home helps with allergies - plus this packaging is SO pretty!
I just had THIS designer create my new logo, and I am so so so excited to share it with you all. Some of her work can be found at Prickly Pear Paper (also in Agritopia!) Check out her website and purchase some of her lovely work!
This might sound silly, but I am totally into the $1 any size organic coffee at this chain, I just have them put milk and I add my own stevia. Plus, their buffalo chicken salad is ridiculously tasty. This could be a great gift card idea for a health conscious mom!
Now I’m going to go totally NOT health conscious (trying to keep you on your toes!) Give mom a night in - I’ve totally been wanting to try this COOKIE DELIVERY SERVICE. Sorry, I needed the caps to make sure you read that right. Send that Arizona mom cookies straight to her door, specific delivery zones apply.
If you’re wanting a delivery that will bless her time & time again, consider signing her up for a magazine like this one, I absolutely love it and it’s such an all around great publication.
Does she need a little R & R? A three to twelve month subscription for this fun product service would be a great thing for her to look forward to and enjoy.
Four Peaks Soapery makes lovely and creative soaps/lip balms and more! Check her out for her latest creations @fourpeakssoapery
Bonus: Flowers! No link required. Getting her a bouquet that has the flower of each of her children/grandchildren included would be SUCH a thoughtful gesture - assuming the flowers are in season, of course! If these types of flowers are unavailable, consider getting her bulbs or seeds that she can plant and enjoy in the months to come.
Sometimes Mother’s Day calls for a sensitive gift, one full of compassion. Recently I was shown an incredible act of kindness by a gift of love, so I would encourage you to consider writing a prayer out for that special lady in your life, or flowers for the one she lost, anything to walk with her in this journey.
Whatever you do, I encourage you to surround the act with affirming words of how much she matters to you - those moments are the ones that speak life and last a lifetime.
XOXO
