Sessions: Perspective

I love that the simplest things are the biggest, most important things to little eyes. We can spend so much time and money getting the perfect gift, and ultimately the wrapping paper and box are the grandest prize. We as parents do some silly little out-of-the-ordinary gesture, and it brightens their whole face. And we spend hours picking out the right outfit, right location for our photos, and all they want is a hand to hold, a lap to snuggle in, someone to run with… and this perspective is one I need to be reminded of daily - it’s the small things that make the biggest moments. I think this is a family that does that well, they hold onto the little things, so that the little things will one day be a part of bigger memories. May we all remember that, now and always.
