Sessions: Lifetimes of Firsts

I love firsts. Across the board, and even the silly ones - when the first of the month lines up with the start of a week, first rays peeking out of a former night sky, the first kiss of married love, the first cries of a newborn babe. And, in this job, getting to capture firsts tops all.

This client took me beyond that and allowed me to be one of the first to hear her happy news - the sweet announcement of her engagement and the longing for photos to be booked soon after. What a neat thing it was to wake up and see this news that I got to hold special until it’s time - things like this will never grow old.
