Sessions: Stepping Heavenward

Most of my subjects are people - every now and then I’ll capture an interior or landscape, and the occasional animal, but mostly people are my work. Better yet, souls. Or, better still, heavenly beings. So often I have the pleasure of stopping an ephemeral moment, a fleeting season of life. It’s these fleeting seasons we so often long to remember, and all too frequently forget. The seasons of dirty hands and stained shoes; the seasons of reading together and mundane car rides. The seasons that are filled with moments that build relationships and strengthen bonds. If I’m looking to a family that builds life into those fleeting moments for heavenly purposes, it would be these souls here. They are full of intentionality and heavenly mindedness - and as they step forward into each new season, they continually step heavenward, too.

What a wonderful year of capturing lovely souls I’ve had, and it’s not over yet. Thankful for each and every one.
