Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! (*insert all the celebratory emoji’s here!!!*)

This Saturday I’m starting off the year with seven fun people/items/ideas that will inspire and help your heart, soul & home moving into the new year! I don’t believe in the spirit of comparison, looking at everyone’s “perfect” life on social media and trying to measure up to the world’s unrealistic and idealistic standards.

But, how often do I fall intro that trap? My goal is to really just be who God created me to be; a life full of joy/health/and a well-maintained home, while living radically to love the world around me. However, I’ll admit, that putting those philosophies into practice is a HUGE struggle for me, I am far from perfect; but God is faithful and while I’m His work in progress. That’s why these 7 ideas are such a blessing - they are inspiring, and manageable for anyone - without making you feel less than, unequipped, or small.

Not to delay, I’ll get right to it ;-)

  1. I have a lot of respect for this photographer/mom/believer/blogger - one fun thing she is doing in 2019 is a book club that anyone living anywhere can join, as well as other great inspirational ideas that she has up her sleeve as well. You won’t regret checking her out!

  2. This Instagram is really inspiring, and their planners are really quite lovely and well made.

  3. David loves listening to this couple’s YouTube channel, and ended up buying us their cookbook. I love how simply they look at healthy cooking - a great way to enjoy a healthy meal without breaking the bank, or making cooking feel overwhelming and unmanageable.

  4. Looking for a book that will nourish and encourage your mind & soul? I’ve still yet to finish it, but let me tell you - there hasn’t been a time that I’ve picked it up without being blessed.

  5. Help bring some calm into your home with essential oils stored in pretty bottles (of course, always prayer first, everything else second!) I’ve been following this company on Instagram recently, and their products are just lovely!

  6. I feel like I’ve posted about them in the past, but they are SO good that I have to post again. This goal planner was such a life helper for me that David commented after I initially started doing it. It’s honestly worth the investment, and the messages that come across from the founder & company overall are just beautiful & inspiring. One of my favorite sentences I’ve seen the company put out? “There is nothing magical about January 1st.” Isn’t that the truth!!! Isn’t it good to know you can start on January 17th, February 4th, March 27th… just as easily as any other day?? January 1st does not define you! How much freedom is there in that?!

  7. I know they’re uber popular, but these metal drink containers are a great way to take your drinks on the go and decorate one for yourself as you live life outdoors, at the gym, or adventuring. Plus, they keep your cold drinks cold & your hot drinks hot!

I hope you all enjoyed this first post of 2019! Please share any favorite New Year’s inspiration below, I would love to hear it!!!!

XO,

Tamara
